This information session will explain the difference between picky eaters and problem feeders in children.
A developmental approach to feeding will be discussed. Participants will learn about the importance of posture, sensory, oral motor, and behaviour aspects in relation to eating. General strategies to support with feeding will be shared. Strategies for specific children will not be provided as each child’s feeding difficulties are very individual and a child will require an assessment before safe individualized strategies can be shared.
