Small group focusing on helping young learners develop the tools they need to be flexible and social thinkers. This group will benefit children with social learning weaknesses who struggle to learn and play in a group setting. Lessons will include: “Expected versus Unexpected Behaviours”, “Smart Guess”, Flexible versus Stuck Thinking”, “Size of the Problem”, and “Sharing an Imagination”.
Ideas for home practice will be provided each day to help generalize group skills across environments. For this reason, parents are encouraged to arrive a few minutes before each session ends.
This program is intended for children who have social learning challenges, between the ages of 4-7 years with age-appropriate or close to age-appropriate understanding and use of language.
